Retired as a dedicated Senior Accountant for the City of Desert Hot Springs, Gary Carroll brings three years of invaluable service and 45 years of finance experience to his campaign. Gary is committed to leveraging his expertise and deep understanding of community issues to continue our city's positive progress in District 4 and the entire city.
A longtime resident of the Coachella Valley and a proud veteran of the US Army, Gary has a strong connection to our community. Alongside his wife Sandra, he has nurtured a loving family with three children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, all while actively contributing to local education and healthcare initiatives.
Gary’s campaign focuses on tackling key issues such as homelessness, public safety, and education. His goal is to foster progress through collaboration with the city's residents, leaders and staff. With a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a proven track record of uniting diverse groups, Gary is a consensus builder who believes in the power of positive relationships.
